The young Norwegian pianist Steffen Horn was born in 1976. Since achieving second place in addition to a special prize in the Smetana Competition, five CD-releases with exellent reviews, and his London debut at the Wigmore Hall, he has established a reputation as an outstanding soloist in the international league.

He has made solo recitals in Prague, London, Warsaw, Moscow, Tehran and Berlin, and in 2004 he toured both Germany and China. His recent major tour in Norway was successfully recorded, and has just been released om CD, november 2006.

Der junge norwegische Pianist Steffen Horn ist 1976 geboren. Nach seinem zweiten Platz und dem Spezialpreis beim internationalen Smetana-Pianowettbewerb in Tschechien, fünf herausgegebenen CD-Einspielungen, die auf grosse Beachtung gestossen sind, und nicht zuletzt seinem Debütkonzert in der Wigmore Hall in London, gilt er als Konzert-Pianist von internationalem Niveau.

Steffen Horn hatte Solokonzerte in Prag, Warschau, London, Moskau, Teheran und Berlin. 2004 musizierte er in China und Deutschland, und im darauf folgenden Jahr hatte er eine umfassende Norwegen-Tournee.

Han har holdt solokonserter i Praha, London, Warszawa, Moskva, Teheran og Berlin, og i 2004 turnerte han i Tyskland og Kina. Hans omfattende norgesturné i 2005, ble i disse dager utgitt på CD, november 2006.
